Q&A

What projects can I implement with shared-inc?

If it requires a computer, then shared-inc is usually an option. Marketing and advertising, design work, web and software development are areas we can cover with a strong network. But we also have excellent lawyers, accountants, producers and more.

How does shared-inc make money?

shared-inc is a not-for-profit organisation. 10% of the project's total budget is set aside at the beginning of each project, up to a maximum of CHF 50,000. This money is invested exclusively in the continued existence and development of shared-inc. If there is a surplus, half is paid to active members and half to active customers.

How easy is it for clients to work with shared-inc?

Working with shared.inc is very convenient. The cooperation is regulated in a single contract between the contracting company and the shared-inc shareholder company. The individual contracts with the team are the responsibility of shared-inc.

Can I book individual freelancers through shared-inc?

No. shared-inc only works with teams and will always act as a contractor and manage the project.

Of course, clients can request shared-inc for recommended freelancers from the member network. However, the resulting contractual relationships are not managed by shared-inc.

Why is working with shared-inc so efficient?

A team that has already completed an identical or similar project will achieve project goals faster. And because only top talents work in our shared-inc network, the expected outcome is at a higher level than with providers who rely on permanent staff.

What is the difference between shared-inc and a conventional agency?

shared-inc does not have anyone on the payroll who needs to be paid. When building a team, the company does not have to use its own people first, but can choose the best individual from the network for each role. And because the company is not profit driven, shared-inc has no interest in increasing its own profit margin by using as many low cost employees as possible..

How does shared-inc differ from freelancer platforms like upwork or a.team?

shared-inc does not match freelancers with clients, but assembles teams to take on a project. The project is also managed by the team. Clients can have a place in the team or are connected to the team via a Single Point of Contact (SPOC).

How easy is it for specialists to work with shared-inc?

Working with shared-inc is very simple. shared-inc regulates cooperation with team members through individual contracts. Where there is no separate company, payment is made through shared pay platforms.

How does the shared-inc process work?

1 Project description
Clients tell us what they want to do.In addition to this description, we record all relevant requirements that need to be met.

2 Team assembly
shared-inc recommends an optimal team to the client. This selection is based on skills, expertise and experience in similar projects. The client reviews this tailor-made shared-inc team proposal.

3 Get started
If this review is positive, the selected team implements the project within the specifications. Assignees can either be a direct part of the team or remain synchronized with the team through a SPOC.

What do I get out of submitting a project to shared.inc?

shared-inc is interested in exciting projects. That's why we reward the successful placement of a project by a member or third party with 5% of the turnover. This payment can be up to a maximum of CHF 15'000. So even if someone can't or doesn't want to personally work on a project, it's a worthy submission.

Why does shared-inc strengthen a fair economy?

shared-inc follows the principles of stewardship ownership which means that all activities are aimed at fulfilling the company's purpose. Any profits are plowed back into the community in proportion to the individual's commitment. shared-inc thus rewards those who drive the company forward, rather than those who own it.

What are the benefits of shared-inc for the self-employed, members and freelancers?

shared-inc enables anyone to complete projects with the resources of a large company and to take on more attractive work.

How can I become a member of shared-inc?

shared-inc grows exclusively through the personal networks of existing members (member get member principle). New members are only accepted on the basis of a positive team evaluation after the first project participation. This membership assessment process ensures the high quality of the network.
